GNS Mens

GNS Men compete in Sydney Hockey Association (SHA) competitions.  GNS Men have maintained a presence in SHA Premier League 1 (PL1) for over 20 years (since club foundation in 1998), the highest level club hockey competition in NSW.  Our PL1 team has featured in finals series on several occasions over the years however is still yet to crack the elusive premiership!

GNS has a history of developing young talent and state and national representation.  International players that have worn GNS colours include Australian legends of the game, Jamie Dwyer and Brent Livermore.  Amongst our current playing group is former Australian U21 player Brinlay Gallager, NSW Pride's Robbie MacLennan and NSW Pride squad member Nicholas Johnston.

GNS has also proven a popular destination for many elite players from overseas and has welcomed players from the Netherlands, Germany, UK, Ireland, India, France, Spain, South Africa, Pakistan and Argentina.

In 2020, GNS Men was thrilled to announce a collaboration with association neighbours Manly Hockey Club, forming the Manly-GNS partnership and a combined six mens teams:
